Shubham came to Vancouver Island University as an MBA intern, arriving with experience in sales, product development, consulting and strategy at high-growth startups. In 2023 he led VIU's team at the BC MBA Games. He stayed on in Nanaimo, joining Student Affairs to coordinate community building and to run Cultural Connections, the university's program for international students.
