Nausheen Ahmad

Pickering, Canada

Nausheen Ahmad runs events marketing for Adyen in Canada, the latest stop in a career spanning more than 500 in-person, virtual and hybrid events worldwide.

Worth knowing

She has built event brands from nothing and produced at the top end of the scale, from a five-day public exhibition drawing 5,000 people a day to a two-day hybrid summit with 20,000 attendees, 130 speakers and 55 partners, across the US, Canada, the UK and EMEA. She knows venues, vendors and what a program costs before you sign anything.

Story

Nausheen studied at the University of Calcutta and built her events career across the Middle East before settling in the Greater Toronto Area. In Toronto she ran events and experiential marketing at Loopio, where the pandemic forced her to rethink how an event works when nobody is in the room, then moved to healthcare technology company Petal to lead events and partnerships. She is now at Adyen, where she works on Adyen North 2026, the payments company's flagship Canadian event.

Canadian story

Born and raised in India. Lived in the ME and moved to Canada 8 years back. I am an event professional with a track record of designing and running more than 500 in-person and virtual events globally. My experience spans corporate strategy, venue & vendor management, and full-scale event production across the US, Canada, UK and EMEA. Among my achievements, I have built many event brands from scratch, led a 5 day public exhibition with a daily footfall of 5k+ attendees and a two-day hybrid summit for 20,000 attendees, 130 speakers, and 55 partners.
