Matt Fogel runs product, software and design at WAVE Charging, whose wireless fast-charging pads power electric trucks and buses without a plug.
Worth knowing
He has carried product from a two-founder AI startup in Montreal all the way through a NASDAQ-listed climate tech company, so he knows both what an early EV or AI product needs and what public-market scrutiny does to a roadmap. He mentors early-stage founders through Techstars.
Story
Matt has worked on the web since 1997, first as a designer and developer for agencies, then running his own consultancy, and later as an account and project supervisor at Twist Image in Montreal. He studied software systems at Concordia and spent six years directing product for Agendize's SaaS tools. In 2015 he co-founded Fuzzy.ai with Evan Prodromou, a machine-learning platform for developers built between Montreal and San Francisco, and led product and go-to-market as COO. That work in AI led to Ideanomics, where from 2018 to 2025 he ran product strategy across EV and fintech lines. He now builds from Brooklyn.
