He builds full products on his own, from React Native apps to AI and wearable prototypes, and has taken a company from a student side project to Y Combinator. He knows the Toronto student-builder circuit and the hackathon pipeline that feeds it. Story

Vikram studied computer science with a specialization in entrepreneurship at the University of Toronto, working as a full-stack developer and machine learning engineer while building projects across AI, fintech and wearables. At Hack the North in 2023 he built FindSpot, a React Native app for indoor accessibility navigation. He interned at Amazon, Shopify and a San Francisco startup before committing to his own companies. He now builds Offline from Toronto, and runs 39 public repositories on GitHub under the handle VikramChandraNarra.

In Vikram's words

Went to 12 different schools for the first 18 years of my life (family kept relocating). Learnt how to make friends and be versatile cause of that. Fell in love with entrepreneurship every since I got my first laptop when I was 12 years old. Tried building over 10 startups up until the end of my university. Fit in some internships hoping that maybe I'm meant to be in corporate; interned at Amazon, Shopify, and then a Startup in SF. Realized that I'm better than my managers and the founders at the startup. So I decided that even while I'm working, I'll still keep building. Now, I'm in YC.
