Story

Michael's path into venture ran through Creative Destruction Lab, where he started as an associate and later co-founded Sana Biotechnology. He joined Amplitude Ventures, Canada's leading biotechnology and healthcare venture fund, as a Principal, and took on Pre-Amp, the firm's in-house venture creation studio. RIME Therapeutics came out of an Amplitude Fellowship hypothesis and was built from nothing by Pre-Amp, with Michael taking the CEO seat and the company's Disruptide platform now drawing recognition from big pharma. He works from Montreal and still mentors at CDL.
