McGraw joined Inovia Capital in February 2018 with a mandate to open the Canadian firm's London office alongside general partner Patrick Pichette, and has worked on investments including Lightspeed, Booksy, Neo4j, Zwift and Forward. Before Inovia he was on the Funds and Technology team at Montreal-based pension fund CDPQ, serving as a board member or observer at Lightspeed, Hopper and Felix & Paul Studios, and was previously an investment analyst at PSP Investments. He also completed operating secondments as a project manager at Hopper and, more recently, as VP Operations at Inovia portfolio company SalesAPE, where he supported a $10M raise and the company's US expansion. Outside of investing he sits on the steering committee for the Bahir Dar Specialty Eye Center project in Ethiopia and is involved with Out Investors London and LGBTQ+ mentoring through Start Proud.
Canadian story
McGraw graduated from McGill University in Montreal with a BBA in 2014 and built his investing career at Canadian institutions — PSP Investments and CDPQ in Montreal — before joining Montreal-headquartered Inovia Capital. He moved to London in 2018 to launch Inovia's first European office, and continues to invest on behalf of the Canadian firm from the UK.
