She has taken a Canadian health technology company from founding through a cross-border merger with an Australian firm and private equity backing, and she knows how patient-support workflows get adopted by clinicians and pharma in dozens of markets at once. She has raised venture money in Canada, including a Series A closed in the middle of the pandemic.

Story

Lynda founded Curatio in Vancouver in 2013 with Nima Kaviani and Alireza Davoodi, her third start-up. It was a social health network for patients, and she took it to CBC's Dragons' Den in 2016 and walked out with all the Dragons on board, then returned in 2018 and secured her original ask of $350,000 for 5%. That same year the company expanded to Kelowna, where she still works, keeping offices in both cities. In 2020 she raised a Series A led by Rhino Ventures during the pandemic. Two years later Curatio merged with Sydney-based RxMx to form RxPx, backed by Pemba Capital Partners, and she runs it today under the mission "No Patient Alone," an end-to-end workflow platform for patients and the clinicians treating them.
