Lee Dale leads Say Yeah!, the Toronto consultancy he grew out of his first web agency, and has helped raise more than $400,000 for charities through the city's tech community.

Lee has spent two decades making digital products and learning programs work for everyone, with accessibility and inclusive design at the centre, for clients in the public sector, industrial, sports, finance and insurance. He knows Toronto's design and tech community from the inside, having organized much of it.
Story
Lee started with Smack, a web design agency that became Say Yeah! when he co-founded the firm with Matt Rintoul, its design practice dating to 2008. From an office on Adelaide Street West he now leads the Learning and Development team, delivering LearnTech projects built around accessibility and inclusive learning design, drawing on the firm's past collaborative work with the World Wide Web Foundation. Alongside the client work he has built things for the community around him: Together, founded in 2017 to address systemic issues facing youth and professionals in tech, and HoHoTO, the city's tech holiday fundraiser. He talks about service design and inclusive design on stages in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Austin, and spins records and shoots photos under the name I Need Sugar.
