Jacquelyn Corbett bought mini mioche, the Canadian-made children's clothing brand, and runs it as owner and Chief-Everything-Officer while advising other DTC brands on growth.
Worth knowing
She has built, launched and scaled close to 80 brands since 1997, and through her agency JC+CO growth accelerants she has run e-commerce and paid-channel strategy for clients from Porta to CIBC and the Canadian Cancer Society. She knows what it takes to buy a consumer brand, keep it made in Canada and open retail doors. Worth writing to if you are scaling a DTC brand or weighing an acquisition.
Story
Jacquelyn moved to Toronto from Nova Scotia in 2004 and spent roughly 25 years building ventures across consumer products, entertainment, consulting, publishing and advertising, with a stretch at the vegan hair and body care brand Cake Beauty along the way. She founded JC+CO growth accelerants in Toronto to put that experience to work as a fractional executive for e-commerce and DTC brands. Then she bought one of her own. mini mioche is Climate Neutral Certified and a 1% for the Planet member, and under Jacquelyn it has opened a new Toronto shop. She is also a mother of three, and has talked openly about how she balances that with the work.
