Félix Gagné

Founder & CEO · Ludo (Ludo App)

Montreal, Canada

Félix Gagné is the founder of Ludo, the Montreal app that turns workplace wellness into team competitions, with 80% of participating employees hitting Health Canada activity levels.

Worth knowing

He has sold and run gamified wellness programs inside Quebec SMEs and remote and hybrid teams, and he can show what actually moves employee behaviour rather than what looks good in a benefits brochure. He also knows Montreal's university startup pipeline from the inside, having come up through both the Polytechnique and HEC incubators.

Story

Félix was studying industrial engineering at Polytechnique Montréal when the pandemic scattered his classmates, so he began organizing online wellness challenges to keep them connected. That habit became a company. By 2021 Ludo was a product, running team sport and wellness challenges for small and mid-sized Quebec employers whose staff were suddenly spread across kitchens and spare bedrooms. He built it through Propolys, Polytechnique's incubator, then moved into the La Base community at HEC Montréal. Ludo Challenge reached the App Store in 2024, and the company now reports up to ten social interactions a month between colleagues taking part. Félix stays close to the school that started it, returning to Polytechnique as a panelist on AI and startups.
