Dasami Moodley

Dasami Moodley

Director, Head of Sustainability · NAX Group

Montreal, Canada

Dasami Moodley heads sustainability at NAX Group from Montreal, where she runs a global ESG joint venture with a major asset manager.

Worth knowing

She designs fund strategies aimed at systemic change and has led investments across energy, immigration, financial services, education and healthcare, so she knows how climate and impact capital actually gets allocated. She has also mentored more than fifteen companies through Unreasonable Impact Americas. Founders building climate or ESG ventures, and investors structuring impact funds, should write.

Story

Dasami studied at McGill and did business and community outreach for lululemon in Montreal and New York before going further afield: Mumbai, as Director of Business Development at InVenture.org and on the organizing team of the Sankalp Forum, one of the largest platforms for catalyzing impact investment. Back in North America she ran digital ventures work at BCG Digital Ventures, led strategy and studio partnerships at NationSwell in New Orleans, and taught systemic design at California College of the Arts. At NAX Group she now leads the sustainability division of the AI software company, writes for the World Economic Forum on ESG and data-driven economic models, and chaired the Scope 3 emissions panel at Climate Week NYC for Zero3, a startup NAX built.
