Anthony Del Col

Worth knowing

He has created stories in nearly every format, from comics to film to podcasts, and has worked with companies such as Marvel, BBC, Audible, Universal, Image Comics, the United States Army, Wondery and Macmillan Publishing.

Story

Anthony grew up in Porcupine (suburb of Timmins), and studied business at Wilfrid Laurier University. Immediately upon graduation he produced two feature films, was a manager for Grammy Award-winning singer Nelly Furtado, and then left all of that to create his own stories. His KILL SHAKESPEARE series (co-created by fellow Canadian Conor McCreery) was launched as a comic series and adapted into theater, board game, audio drama and more. From there he wrote across licensed and original properties, from Luke Cage for Marvel and the Assassin's Creed comics to the graphic novels Son of Hitler and The Death of Nancy Drew. He most recently was the showrunner on a podcast series for the United States Army.

In Anthony's words

Originally from Timmins, Ontario, Prize-winning storyteller Anthony Del Col attended Wilfrid Laurier University, graduated with honors and producing two feature films while in school. He then attended the Canadian Film Centre, leaving as its youngest-ever Producer's Lab graduate.
