Story
Kunal co-founded Polar in Toronto in 2007 and became its CEO, building an advertising technology business with two distinct lines: ad products for publishers, and programmatic products for agencies and brands. More than 200 publishers came to run on it. In 2021 he split the company, spinning the programmatic brand and agency product out into a standalone business called Nova and leading both as CEO. He now invests and writes, based in Lisbon.
