Jordan Huck is the CEO who rebuilt Notch from a restaurant marketplace into a B2B payments platform after COVID closed the dining rooms it depended on.
Story
Jordan spent a decade in IT consulting at Veritaaq, where he built the private-sector practice in Toronto from a one-person team into roughly half the firm's business, and later led the combined Experis-Veritaaq as president. He joined Notch in 2019, when it was still ChefHero, a marketplace linking restaurants to wholesale distributors. March 2020 took the restaurant industry apart, and Jordan turned the company toward software instead: ordering, invoicing and payments for the distributors and merchants on both sides of the transaction. The rebrand to Notch followed in 2021, and by 2024 the platform was in use at more than 1,500 restaurants. In 2026, Notch Financial became part of Telpay, the Winnipeg payments company that moves more than $28 billion a year, and Jordan continues to lead Notch from Toronto.
