Having built inside sport as both an athlete and an insurance founder, she understands who buys and who sponsors in that world.

Story

Angella rowed her way onto Canada's national program after being scouted in grade 12, reaching Olympic team consideration in 2004, and has spent more than twenty years across rowing, triathlon and cycling. She studied at the University of Victoria after Brentwood College School. Her first company was SokJok, a sock business whose Champion a Campaign program funded youth leadership work in schools. She went on to become a founding partner of Global Sports Insurance, then started TAPanGO in the Ottawa area, where the flagship ATHLETICA Rewards and ATHLETICA Protect programs serve active-lifestyle communities and a second program, Alexandrite, is being built for women in business. She still races: in May 2025 she made another attempt at the UCI 1-Hour Record.
